Fillers are substances used to fill in grooves, wrinkles and small depressions; to enlarge certain regions such as lips and malar region; or even to treat skin flaccidity, stimulating collagen production to improve elasticity. These substances used in the treatment can be obtained from the patient's own organism (fat), or they can be synthetic products (hyaluronic and polylactic acids). Each substance has different characteristics, so the choice of one of them will depend on the kind of patient and treatment. |
